Corona: No new infection

No new infection with the Corona virus became known in the district of Erding on Friday. This leaves a total of 616 infections.

Erding - The number of people recovered rose by one to 587. According to the health authority, only 18 citizens are registered as acutely infected. The seven-day incidence is currently one Covid 19 case per 100,000 inhabitants.

The quiet location still gives Erding Clinic an empty corona isolation and intensive care unit, spokeswoman Claudia Fiebrandt-Kirmeyer reports. At the screening point at the swimming pool in Erding, 15 swabs were taken on Friday. There have been 5439 since mid-March.

According to district administrator Martin Bayerstorfer, the district is still well equipped when it comes to protective equipment such as gloves, masks, coats and shields. Sufficient has been ordered, deliveries continue to be received. As long as the disaster strikes in Bavaria, the disaster management management group continues to work in the district office, even if it is no longer as time- and personnel-intensive as in the high phase of the pandemic.

As a precaution, the medical doctor and the emergency hospital in the air base remain on standby. The production of alcohol in an old distillery in Oberding has already been stopped. ham
