The Egyptian People's Democratic Party condemned the European Union’s decision to renew the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria once again, calling for the formation of an international coalition in the face of these unfair measures.
The party’s deputy leader, Sayyid Al-Assiouti, said in a special statement to the SANA correspondent in Cairo that the party condemns and condemns all the measures that Washington and the European Union are taking, stressing that these sanctions and measures contradict international legitimacy and deviate from all human values.
He added .. The health crisis that the world is going through due to the Corona virus requires taking a decision to cancel such measures, but the West has its own agenda and ambitions that exceed the values of truth and humanitarian standards, and on this came the European Union’s decision to renew invalid and coercive measures.
Assiuti stressed the necessity of international solidarity in facing these measures, calling for "forming an international coalition to break these measures," pointing out that the conspiracy against Syria continues as the participating countries continue to use all tools to achieve their ambitions, but Syria has proven that it is stronger than the gangs of evil and aggression.
