New statistics revealed that the global death toll from Coronavirus infection is approaching the threshold of six million, while the United States maintains the lead by a large margin in the list of countries most affected by the epidemic.

According to data from Johns Hopkins University, the US has recorded 5958857 cases so far, including 365593 deaths, and 1748705 cases are returned to the United States of America.

The United States also tops the list of the countries most affected by Corona in terms of deaths, with 102,856 deaths.

For its part, the Dutch health authorities announced the registration of 20 deaths and 131 new cases of the virus, bringing the total infections to 46,257 cases, while the total deaths reached 5951 deaths.

Sweden recorded 45 deaths from the virus in the 24 hours, for a total of 4,395 cases.

In turn, the Philippine Ministry of Health announced the registration of eight deaths and 590 new cases of coronavirus, noting that the total number of deaths increased to 950, while the total number of cases reached 17224 cases.

In Indonesia, the Ministry of Health announced the detection of 557 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total there to 25,773 cases, while 53 new deaths were recorded, bringing the death toll to 1573 people.

Singapore recorded 506 new cases of corona, bringing the total to 34,366.

To that, the Spanish government announced that four small islands will be able to return to work in the open spaces for bars and restaurants with a capacity of 75 percent as of next Monday in an additional easing of general isolation measures in areas less affected by the spread of the Corona virus.

The mitigation is to include the islands of La Graciosa, the Hero and the La Gomera within the Canary Islands and Formentera in the Balearic Islands.

Grandi considered that it is impossible to determine the true number of people infected with the virus known as "Covid 19" in Yemen due to the lack of sufficient capabilities to conduct the tests.
