The death toll from the emerging coronavirus in the United States has exceeded the threshold of 106,000, while the number of infected people has reached more than 1,833,000, according to the World Statistics website.
The site, which is run by an international team of developers and researchers, stated that, to date, the United States has recorded 183,320,203 confirmed cases of the new corona virus, including 106,125 deaths, equivalent to 5.88 percent of the total cases observed, while 540,835 cure cases were recorded, or 29.49 percent.
The United States is the first country in the world in terms of the death toll and infections of the emerging coronavirus.
