In a recording released by Qatari opposition activist, former Qatari ruler tells Libya then-Muammar Gaddafi that former US president is "slave" and "stupid"

Former Amir Qatar, Hamed a-Thani, has named former US President Barack Obama "slave" and "stupid." This emerges from a conversation, which has not yet been verified, between A-Thani and Libya's former dictator, Muammar Gaddafi.
The recording was published by Qatari opposition activist Khaled a-Khalil. "Allah curses him ... this slave ... he is stupid," a-Thani is heard saying in the recording, adding that "I swear to him, he is stupid." This is not Hamed's only embarrassing recording that passed the statements to his son, Tamim, in 2013. In a recording released in 2017, he was heard in another conversation with Gaddafi attacking Saudi Arabia officials and the royal family.

The Al-Arabiya network, which soon released the recording shared by Khaled a-Khalil, is a Saudi network and it is clear that the purpose of the publication is to embarrass the A-Thani family, because the tension between Riyadh and Doha is well known to all. Qatar finances and hosts senior terrorist organizations - such as the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas - and thus has been directly criticized for years by the Saudis.
Meanwhile, in an attempt to embarrass the Trump administration over the protests following the death of George Floyd, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Jawad Zarif posted a tweet in which he took Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's rallies on protests in Iran, scandalized the publication and added his own captions. He replaced the word "Iran" in the US, the words "Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis" he replaced with "countless dictators", and also disrupted another phrase that he wrote: "The American people are tired of racism."
