"I do not stand alone, my uncles Amsalem, Mickey Zohar and Dr. (originally highlighted) Avishai Ben Haim stand here." These are the words chosen for the daily cartoon in Haaretz the day after Netanyahu's trial began. The quote, of course, is taken from Plaintiff Gideon Hausner's historic speech at the opening of the Eichmann trial in Jerusalem. But while millions of Holocaust murderers were standing next to Hausner, along with Netanyahu - see how ridiculous - there is a trio of Mizrahim whose connection to the Holocaust is "accidental".

This is not the first time the Holocaust narrative is being advanced by the elites against the Eastern public and its leaders. This is not the first time they are presented as "not belonging" to the subject. This is due first of all to ignorance. The illustrator Biderman tells Ohana and will explain to the Holocaust that his Holocaust concept "belongs" to European Jews, and only to them. Therefore, only the successors of European Jews have the right to property and to perpetuate the memory of the Holocaust. Netanyahu, and Emslam and Zohar who are actually behind him, are seen as cynically using the story not for them.

This distorted conception could have been avoided by the basic understanding of the need to tell the complete Jewish story, which also includes the story of the Jews of the Islamic countries. Does anyone surprise that the situation of these Jews during the Holocaust was a bad cry? Who also suffered from the spreading anti-Semitism and Nazism? Who are also anxious about a trillion approaching them with huge strides?

We are currently commemorating 79 years of Iraq's pre-war events. The parahod is a nickname for traumatic days in the history of Iraqi Jewry, in which a series of robberies, looting, rape and murder of hundreds of Jews were intertwined by Arab nationalism and Nazi ideology, using the Arabic translation of "Mein Kampf" and the incitement of the Mufti Arab leader Al-Husseini, who saw the German solution as a solution to his struggle with the Zionist movement. Under German influence, discriminatory race laws were enacted against the Jews, and the Jewish community's steps were implemented in every way possible.

The prolonged incitement became a bloody reality for the Jews during the 1941 Pentecost, when the massed Muslims took advantage of the exchange of power between the Iraqis and the British and ripped off Jews who were on their way, dressed in white, to the synagogues. In front of the hordes, it should be mentioned, quite a few of the Jews' old neighbors also stood and protected them with their bodies.

The events of the parahood have regained consciousness in recent years, after most of the survivors have taken with them the difficult memories of the grave, surely together with the pain of their disregard. In the education system they did not find it necessary to mention the parahood, and at Yad Vashem they did not find it necessary to investigate his connection to the Holocaust. Even survivors of the events still living up to this day are forced to wage a legal battle for recognition as the victims of the Nazis. Oh shame.

The parody is a reminder to all of us - from the line of decision makers, through newspaper illustrators to the general public - that anti-Semitism, Nazism and nationalism have suffered Jews in Poland and Iraq, Libya and Germany. Prehistoric events need to be taught in schools and researched in universities, so that even in the newspaper people think they will not position the Mizrahi line as a contradiction of Holocaust memory. This is the story of us all.
