  • Whimsical subplots make one or two laugh

Updated on Monday, 01.06.2020, 22:01: Slightly overexcited it was also in the anniversary episode of the Weimar crime scene  " The last Schrey " (Book: Murmel Clausen) in the ARD to. For the tenth time, the bizarre commissioners Lessing (Christian Ulmen) and Kira Dorn (Nora Tschirner) investigated in the city of Schiller and Goethe. At times, however, the humor was a little too hard-working and predictable.

Crime scene in Weimar (ARD): criticism of the show

For example, if witnesses saw nothing at the place where the body was found, because they all belonged to a blind group. And the kidnapper duo , who could hardly say a flawless sentence, looked over exaggerated. The most interesting figure: the son of the kidnapped entrepreneurial couple. Maik Schrey (Julius Nitschkoff) was in desperate search for love and recognition from his father, who in turn made him responsible for the mother's death.

Also noteworthy was the development that took the role in the course of the film - a great acting achievement. Director Mira Thiel created impressive pictures. In particular, the abandoned Sophienheilstätte, a former clinic for lung patients, provided a grandiose backdrop for the finale. The atmosphere was literally palpable in many places. It was not the best performance by the Weimar commissioners, but still good television entertainment. The great staging couldn't hide the fact that wit and irony didn't spark in some scenes.

Crime scene in Weimar (ARD): First report

First announcement from 29.05.2020: The weird investigator duo Kira Dorn (Nora Tschirner) and Lessing (Christian Ulmen) had imagined their day off in Weimar's “Crime Scene: The Last Door” differently. Instead of cozy togetherness, an explosive and sometimes bloody case awaits them both in the “ Tatort ” (ARD) from Weimar .

Crime scene in Weimar (ARD): How is Lessing and Dorn doing?

Actually, the two commissioners from " Tatort " (ARD) wanted to eat comfortably in a pub. But then they see their child's babysitter, a French exchange student, without the accompanying baby.

While this case can be solved quickly and the whereabouts of the “dwarf” are immediately clarified, the crime case that awaits them in Weimar shortly afterwards becomes more complicated.

What is the Weimar crime scene (ARD) about?

The entrepreneurial couple Schrey from Weimar , played by Jörg Schüttauf and Nina Petri, are attacked and kidnapped. The kidnappers are demanding a ransom of two million euros. And there will also be deaths - as is customary in the " crime scene ".

First it hits the "mutt", as the kidnapped son affectionately calls the family dog "Ginger". He is breathed out with meat tenderizer. Director Mira Thiel and author Murmel Clausen flow a lot in the course of the ARD film.

Just turn once more, uh sleep: Tomorrow evening, the team from Weimar will investigate in the brand new # crime scene "The last Schrey"!

Crime scene in Weimar (ARD): What do you know about the perpetrators?

The amateurish kidnappers are known from the start. However: Whoever is the mastermind remains secret until shortly before the “ Tatort ” (ARD) from Weimar . Because the kidnapped couple is not very popular, the circle of suspects is also large.

In addition, the company is on the verge of bankruptcy and the kidnapping could also be an attempt to defraud. The entrepreneurs' ransom insurance would actually have expired in a few days. And then there is the difficult relationship between the son and father and stepmother.

What else happens in the crime scene from Weimar (ARD)?

In this ARD thriller, the audience is presented with some bizarre subplots and characters. And the interplay between the two commissioners Dorn and Lessing creates a smile or two.

A famous quotation from the literary must not be missing in the " crime scene " from the Thuringian cultural city of Weimar . There is not much to see of the city itself this time. But aesthetic shots from a knitwear factory, lots of nature and a creepy abandoned building.
