Member of the Egyptian Parliament, Hamada Al-Qast, affirmed that the coercive, unilateral western economic measures imposed on Syria are arbitrary and opposed to the most basic human rights standards, especially in light of the global outbreak of the Corona virus, condemning the European Union's renewal of these measures.
In a statement to the SANA correspondent in Cairo, Al-Qastat indicated that the United States is leading global conspiracies against Syria and is seeking in every way to divide the region again in order to achieve its colonial ambitions.
He added that the West, which imposes on Syria these invalid and coercive measures, is the one who praises human rights, but its policies and actions prove the opposite and show the truth of its policies, as it supports the illegal practices of the Turkish regime against Syria.
Al-Qast added that Syria, with the steadfastness of its people and the will of its army, will win against terrorism and remain the heart of the Arab nation.
