This year is the 31st anniversary of the June 4th Incident. The SFC applied to the police to hold a candlelight party at Victoria Park on June 4. The police objected on the grounds of the restriction and epidemic situation. Netizens called for an event of "Mourning the June 4th Unrestricted Free Blossoming" inside and outside the Lai Chi Kok Reception Centre at 7:30pm today (3rd), saying that they would mourn the June 4th together with the "brothers and feet" in prison in the reception facility. Participants abide by the restraint order and maintain social distance. At about 7pm, about dozens of participants came to the scene one after another, pulling up the slogan "Indiscriminately arresting and prosecuting unprisoned prisoners" and lighting candlelights to set up the altar. The participants included Liang Guoxiong, a member of the social civil society, and Zeng Jiancheng, Several uniformed police officers were on alert at the scene.
