Coronavirus screening operations are increasing in the districts of Ile-de-France. This Thursday 4 June (1), a campaign will take place throughout the day in Nanterre, on the Place du Marché de la Gare. Organized by professionals from municipal health centers and Max-Fourestier hospital, it will offer more than two hundred people a medical interview and a RT-PCR screening test for Covid 19.

On the initiative of the Ile de France regional health agency, such operations have already been carried out in several Ile-de-France municipalities since May 15, including Gennevilliers. In Nanterre, the municipality and the reception and hospital care center (Cash) have teamed up to welcome residents, free of charge, without an appointment.
"The objective of this operation is to go to Nanterrians to make them aware of barrier gestures, inform them about the disease, and make known in practice the methods of access to screening," explains the management of Max- Fourestier.
This campaign is for everyone, especially people who do not have medical coverage, those who have been afraid to go to the doctor for the past few weeks or who have not found a consultation or an appointment you adapted to their working hours.
Two screening centers by appointment
Apart from this exceptional day, two screening centers were opened by the city and the hospital. A Covid consultation center has been installed by the town hall in the sports center of the Palais des sports. Another works at the polyclinic of the Max-Fourestier hospital. Since the opening in mid-May, these centers have already received nearly two hundred people.
But beware, these two centers only accept patients by appointment and on medical prescription. First call your doctor or, if you do not have one, contact (2) the municipal health centers of the Park or Maurice-Thorez, and an appointment will be given at the Covid center if necessary.
