The interventions of members of the Aleppo Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Tourism and bank managers during their meeting today with the Ministerial Committee in charge of following up the reconstruction and construction projects in Aleppo focused on the necessity of issuing legislation and laws to address the conditions of regions affected by terrorism and exempt them from fees and fines.

The participants called for providing the rest of the industrial areas with electricity, securing the raw materials for textile industries, paying attention to the handicraft industries in the Ramosa area, handling the situation of contraband products and fabrics, and providing facilities for the food industries.

The industrialists called for controlling the prices of raw materials and production inputs related to leather industries, addressing the difficulties of the pharmaceutical industries, setting prices, providing customs facilities and implementing the decisions of the third industrial conference held recently in Aleppo.

The Aleppo merchants demanded to address the status of internal financial transfers, provide facilities for importing goods, mitigate customs data, address the status of retired tourist guides, form a tourism committee at the governorate level to study the reality of tourism investment and tourist archaeological sites, activate commercial markets in areas liberated from terrorism, and pay compensation to those affected by tourism facilities due to terrorism .

The head of the Ministerial Committee, Eng. Hussein Arnous, Minister of Water Resources, stressed the government's interest in the economic, commercial and agricultural realities that are witnessing remarkable growth, as the number of industrial and craftsmanship facilities that have been rehabilitated has reached 18,000 and the number of factories produced in Sheikh Najjar Industrial City has reached 600.

Engineer Muhammad Zuhair Kharbutli, Minister of Electricity, stressed that the electric current should be delivered to each facility, noting that during the next two days the number of hours of electric feeding for the facilities will be increased from 12 hours to 24 hours, and the electricity will be provided continuously to Sheikh Najjar's industrial city instead of five days arrived.

He added that the ministry has put in its plan for this year the installation of 400 electrical transfer centers in Aleppo and during the next few days it will be contracted and allocating an amount of 600 million Syrian pounds to rehabilitate the network in the region of Jibreen, 500 million pounds to rehabilitate the network in Al-Qatirji, 400 million pounds for the destruction network and 200 million pounds for the Bustan al-Basha area And 150 million pounds for the Ramouseh region.

Interior Minister Major General Mohamed al-Rahmoun assured that laws and regulations will be implemented, expressing readiness to meet the demands of the industrialists and increasing the elements of the police units.

In turn, the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Dr. Muhammad Samer Al-Khalil, spoke about the government's economic policies that support production and facilities granted to industrialists, calling for adjusting the prices of some raw materials that are included in the pharmaceutical industries.

Dr. Mamoun Hamdan, Minister of Finance, stressed the importance of cooperation to eliminate smuggling, which poses the greatest threat to Syrian industry, and to increase production and encourage exports to provide foreign exchange.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Tourism, Eng. Muhammad Rami Radwan Martini, Public Works and Housing Eng. Suhail Abdul Latif, Governor of Aleppo Hussein Diab and Secretary of the Aleppo branch of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Ahmed Mansour.

To that, the Minister of Electricity set up 6 electrical transmission centers in service in the Al-Mashhad region, liberated from terrorism, to feed the region with electric power with a capacity of about 6 thousand watts.

During his meeting with workers at the General Electricity Company of Aleppo, Kharbutli stressed the need to make double efforts to secure electrical energy for the entire city of Aleppo, as it is an important industrial city, which contributes to the rotation of the production wheel.
