French health authorities today announced the registration of 46 new deaths from the newly created Corona virus.
Reuters quoted the French Health Ministry as saying in a statement today that the death rate is the same as yesterday, bringing the total deaths to 29,111 cases, which is the fifth largest in the world.
For its part, South Africa announced that HIV infections rose at a rapid rate, with 3,267,000 new infections recorded.
Western Cape became the main epicenter of the virus in the country, registering nearly two thirds of the total number of 40,792 cases, and 651 deaths out of a total of 848 across the country.
