Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hanan Ashrawi, renewed the demand of the international community to assume its responsibilities, provide international protection to the Palestinian people, end the continuous Israeli occupation crimes against it, and hold those responsible accountable.
Ashrawi said in a statement carried by Wafa Agency today that the plans of the Israeli occupation to annex parts of the Palestinian territories to his entity are not new and their implementation is ongoing since the seventies, taking advantage of the American collusion and the world’s inability to curb its violations .
Ashrawi stressed that the Palestinian people will continue their steadfastness and struggle until they obtain their legitimate rights, especially the right of return, self-determination and the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital on the borders of June 4, 1967.
