Extinguishing a fire in forest lands in Al-Issawiya, Lattakia countryside

Members of the forestry in the Directorate of Agricultural Lattakia put out a fire that broke out in Al-Issawiya municipality opposite the reserve on the road to Kassab Al-Simit.

The director of agriculture, Engineer Munther Khairbek, said that 14 firefighting vehicles deal with the fire, 12 of which belong to Lattakia and two cars for the fire brigade, in addition to the two mechanisms of Agriculture for Agriculture and Technical Services, two tanks and five teams of firefighters.

Khairbik pointed out that the directorate's cadres also managed to put out a forest fire that erupted in the Al-Husayniyah farm of the Saraya Village in Lattakia and that the fire is currently in the cooling stage.
