Tourism facilities in Daraa have resumed their work, taking all necessary precautions to tackle the Corona virus and maintain public health and safety.
Tourism Director Yasser Al-Saadi indicated in a statement to a SANA reporter that tourism facilities have returned to practice their activities according to conditions approved by the Ministry of Tourism and circulated to the directorates in the governorates, which include achieving spatial divergence, non-provision of hookah, prevention of smoking and sterilization of kitchen appliances, in addition to preventing parties and gatherings within the tourist establishments, indicating that The joint control from the governorate and the Tourism Directorate is responsible for ensuring the extent to which the owners of the establishments adhere to these requirements, monitoring violations and organizing the necessary seizures against violators.
Khalil Al Masri, the owner of a tourist facility, stressed that the facility is cleaned and sterilized periodically, with workers adhering to the means of protection by wearing masks and gloves.
One of the visitors to the tourist facilities, Baraa Barbour, pointed out that the commitment to precautionary measures starts from the citizen, indicating that the procedures applied in tourist facilities are good in terms of sterilization and the use of preventive measures to address the Corona virus.
