In Washington DC, a large number of people took to the streets on Saturday (June 6) to protest the racial discrimination and police violence caused by the death of African-American man George Floyd. On Sunday (June 7), Trump (Donald Trump) said via Twitter that he had ordered the National Guard to withdraw from Washington.

Trump said: "I have ordered the National Guard to withdraw from Washington, and now everything is in full control. They (National Guard) will go back, but they will be dispatched soon if necessary. Those who participated in the demonstration on Saturday night There are far fewer people than expected."

At the same time, after days of demonstrations in New York City, Saturday night was generally calm. Mayor Bill de Blasio announced on Sunday that the curfew was lifted in advance and pointed out that two police officers suspected of misbehaving against demonstrators while maintaining order, will be suspended and face disciplinary action; one of the police officers involved is in Last Friday (June 5), a female demonstrator was pushed down by a demonstration in Brooklyn. Another police officer took off the demonstrators’ masks and applied pepper spray.
