Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has just begun rolling out his election campaign in recent weeks, after many weeks sitting in his home in solitary confinement, and the various polls are predicting a feat that few incumbents have ever achieved.

The conservative "Real Clear Politics" news site, which collects results from various surveys from research institutes and media outlets across the United States, showed that over the past week, Biden has received more than fifty percent of support with no less than four different polls.

The polls from Emerson College, University of Monmouth, PBS and the ABS News Network all showed that the Democratic candidate has a 50 percent to 53 percent support rate. The last contender for an incumbent president who managed to reach such numbers was Jimmy Carter, and he won the election. However, meanwhile, Biden's polling average is 49.6 percent, a high figure in itself and a gap on its rival Donald Trump, but not yet above the 50 percent line.

However, one of the places that points to Biden's real problem is his home state, Pennsylvania. Despite the predetermined result, the economic crisis, epidemic and riots cast more than 800,000 Republicans to vote for Trump in the country's Republican pre-election election. This is a show of power for the Republican Party in a state that is considered a Democratic stronghold.

"The high voter turnout indicates enthusiasm and willingness to take a risk. It's an unusual phenomenon in American politics. It's hard to get voters out of their homes even when their voice is more than symbolic gesture," he told The New York Post, Jeff Brewer, a political science professor at Keystone College.

Aside from expressing support for Pennsylvania, another achievement Trump has recorded over the past day is support from Mike Huckabee, the governor of Arkansas who previously campaigned against him in the Republican Party primaries. In a panel of the conservative Fox News, Huckabee attacked members of the Bush family and other Republicans who did not stand alongside Trump.
