The elements of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection seized yesterday evening a factory for ice cream in the Baba Amr neighborhood, whose owner is using expired fruit flavors and condensers.
It also seized a food warehouse in Al-Midan neighborhood, with vinegar and flavorings added to expired drinks and juices.
Engineer Rami Al-Youssef, director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Homs, said in a statement to SANA correspondent that two rationing arrests were immediately organized against violators and the expropriation of expired materials.
