Peng Yunxi is the second consecutive president of the Law Society. She said that she has the support of most directors and has a tacit understanding of teamwork. She hopes to continue serving members.

This is Peng Yunxi's third term as the president of the Law Society, which is different from the previous practice of the general term of the Law Society's president being maintained for two terms. The Law Society’s statute stipulates that the president may serve for a maximum of three sessions or three years. However, according to the practice, the president usually pays only two sessions, and only a handful of presidents have served for three years. For example, Zhou Yongjian has been reappointed for three terms since 1997.
