By fleeing justice from Japan, Carlos Ghosn has not broken any law: it is the legal dice attempted Monday by the lawyers of Michaël Taylor, the alleged brain of his exfiltration of the Archipelago on December 29, 2019 in a music box. This bearded American, specialist in delicate missions, was arrested with his son and accomplice Peter Taylor in the United States on May 20, with a view to their extradition to the Archipelago.
In its arguments, filed before the Massachusetts Court, and consulted by Le Figaro , the defense advanced two theses. First, it considers that the legal basis for the extradition given by the American authorities when they arrested the Taylor (having protected a fugitive criminal) differs from that of the Japanese arrest warrant which underlies it (having violated the immigration code).
