New investigation opened concerning a member of the executive. The National Financial Prosecutor's Office announced this Friday the opening of an investigation after the revelations of Mediapart, according to which the Secretary of State received as a gift from the Saur two lithographs signed Gérard Garouste, in 2017, while a contract was about to be concluded between the water management company and its town of Annonay.
These gifts had not been declared to the ethics officer of the National Assembly, when the former socialist was then only a deputy. Olivier Dussopt had justified this non-declaration by the fact that he did not know the value of the paintings.
