The number of patients hospitalized in France for a COVID-19 infection has once again declined, as has the number of patients treated in intensive care units, health authorities announced on Sunday.

France had 10,881 hospitalized patients on Sunday, 28 fewer than the previous day, while intensive care units treated 869 patients, two fewer than on Saturday.
Nine more deaths were reported compared to Sunday, bringing to 29,407 the number of deaths officially registered in France since March 1. However, this assessment does not take into account the deaths observed in social and medical-social establishments which will be communicated later. The number of new positive diagnoses increased to 157,220, 407 more than the previous day.
