First confirmed case of coronavirus in the NFL 0:39
(CNN in Spanish) - Several players of the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans have tested positive for coronavirus, sources told NFL Network journalists Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.
According to the report, neither of these players has attended training centers and both teams have adhered to proper health protocols.
The Cowboys told CNN Monday in a statement: "Due to federal and local privacy laws, we are unable to provide information about the personal health of any of our employees."
NFL teams received permission to reopen their facilities beginning May 19, as long as they met all the requirements to do so.
CNN has contacted the Texans and the NFL for confirmation.
