  • Gaza border. Will the silence continue?

After two weeks of threats and mediators' intervention, Israel announced to Qatar that it agreed to introduce the Qatari grant into the Gaza Strip, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, which is close to Hamas, reported on Monday.

Over the past week, launches of explosive balloons have returned to the Gaza Strip. Since Saturday, fires broke out in agricultural areas around the envelope, but these were not associated with balloons.

Al-Akhbar News reported that following negotiations with Qatar and UN brokers, the factions in the Gaza Strip decided to stop ballooning after Israel agreed to the transfer of $ 50 million, which includes two beats from the financial grant to needy families and assistance to other Qatari ventures.

According to the report, a promise was received from the realtors that the grant will be entered during the current week without specifying an exact date. Against this backdrop, a senior Islamic Jihad official, Ahmed al-Madlal, said the return of the balloons was not linked to a new decision by the Supreme Committee for Return Marches in which he is a member. A body affiliated with Hamas and taking part in various terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip. Al-Madlal claimed that the return of the balloons was in general linked to young people's protest against the "delays in easing the siege."
