After a relatively calm period - a rocket was launched Monday evening from the Gaza Strip to Israeli territory, an IDF spokesman confirmed. A landfill was detected in the Eshkol Regional Council. This is the first rocket fire from Gaza since Benni Gantz took office as defense minister.
"As a result of the launch, an alert was activated in the applet," the IDF spokesman noted.

Meanwhile, in the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, which is close to Hamas, this morning it was reported that Israel has informed Qatar that it agrees to introduce the Qatari grant into the Gaza Strip.
Al-Akhbar has learned that following negotiations with Qatar and UN brokers, the factions in the Gaza Strip decided to stop ballooning after Israel agreed to a $ 50 million transfer, which includes two beats from the financial grant to needy families and other Qatari projects.
According to the report, a promise was received from the realtors that the grant will be entered during the current week without specifying an exact date.
