New Zealand continues to struggle with the spread of the Corona virus in the country after it reported on Tuesday that two new patients were verified as carriers of the virus. Both of these cases ended a 24-day sequence in which New Zealand was free of new virus infections, although those cases are likely related to recent flights to the UK.

A statement issued by the New Zealand Ministry of Health said the two new cases discovered in the country were related to border security in the country and were the result of recent flights from the UK to the country. Now, New Zealand reports that the total number of corona virus-confirmed patients is 1,506 people and 22 people have died after contracting the disease.

Remember, last week and following New Zealand's success in the country's corona fight, the government announced the removal of all the social remoteness and corona restrictions imposed on the economy, except for border security restrictions. The swift return to New Zealand's routine came after she declared that there were no more Corona active cases in the country.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced her decision to return to a press conference after a Cabinet meeting last week, saying "I did a little dance of joy when I heard the news that there were no new ones. My daughter saw me dancing and was a little surprised at first, but then joined me "We are now getting into readiness mode 1, which means returning to a normal life and recovery routine. It is likely that there will be more cases, but that will not necessarily be a sign of our failure. Now we can allow the cafes and buses to fill and return freely," said Ardern.
