When he is 72, Suleiman al-Abid, convicted of murder and rape of the restrained young woman, left Ma'asiyahu Prison today for free. Al Abid will continue to serve his sentence in prison
Immediately on Live: After 27 years in prison, he will be released Wednesday morning from Ma'aseyahu Suleiman al-Abid, 72, a convict who was convicted of the rape and murder of a restrained kikus spear and sentenced to life in prison. The Kikos affair was one of the most turbulent legal criminal cases in the state, partly because El-Abid had since claimed his arrest and Spear's parents, Rafi and Dolly, believed in his innocence and asked for his release.

Speaking to a relative yesterday, he told a relative: "The police ruined my life and my family. I'm really excited to be free, but I'm not happy at all. Stole my life, ruined my family because I didn't kill the spear."
"He believes very much, and we too, that the police stitched a case for him," said another relative, "Everyone knows the real killer is walking around to this day. That's why he didn't want to ask for a pardon. Every time he talked to him, he repeated the sentence," even a moment before I died. I will not confess to the murder because I am innocent. "
Recall, in November 2019, a closed-door hearing was held requesting the murder of the late Kikos spear for early release after 26 years in prison, at the conclusion of the parole committee that Suleiman Al Abid would continue to serve his sentence in prison.
Al-Abid, 44, married and a father of children, was arrested in June 1993 as a suspect in the murder of a kikos spear, then 16. Her footprints have since disappeared. The next day, extensive searches were started for her, finally declared absent.
About two years after she disappeared, the remains of her body were found in a cistern near Neot Hatzerim, west of Beersheba. Tests have confirmed that these are the remains of Kikos's body. After a lengthy legal battle, Suleiman al-Abid's retrial was unsuccessful, and then-President Shimon Peres sentenced his sentence to 27 years in prison.
