The US Navy confirmed on Friday the dismissal of the commander of the US nuclear carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt, removed from office after criticizing the management of the Covid-19 epidemic on his ship.

Captain Brett Crozier " will not be reinstated " as commander of Theodore Roosevelt and " will not be eligible " to command other ships, said the Chief of the Defense Staff, Admiral Mike Gilday.
