Mexico, as well as several countries in the region, celebrate Father's Day this Sunday. The occasion is overshadowed by the coronavirus pandemic, which has been plaguing the country for almost four months. Mexico surpassed 175,000 confirmed cases of covid-19 on Saturday. Nearly 21,000 deaths have also been recorded since the start of the pandemic.
