For the first time in Israel, the Altoni International Design Network is opening a branch in Israel. Italian super brand will open a branch in the design city of Design City, which is built in Maale Adumim. The chain has rented 300 square meters of office space. Altoni is expected to join more than 120 international design brands, which have already taken up space in the complex.

The design city of Design City, which is being built by project developer Kess Group in Mishor Adumim, with an investment of NIS 400 million, will cover approximately 110,000 square meters and another 50,000 square meters of public space. The complex will be designed by architect Shlomo Gartner, inspired by the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. The site will include a home design complex, a dining area that will occupy approximately 5,000 square meters and approximately 1,400 parking spaces.

According to Pnina Profit, CEO of Design City, the center will have about 300 stores from the world of home design - furniture, design, electrical appliances, ceramics, curtains, handles, wallpapers and more.

The lessor of the government

While the new government's housing policy is in the midst of battle, new housing minister Jacob Litzman is committed to encouraging long-term rental policies for affordable housing. "Expanding the housing sector for long-term rental throughout the state is a key value for the Ministry of Housing," the minister said.

The state-owned apartment rental company currently leads some 40 projects nationwide with over 8,000 long-term rental units. The company dictates the building specification, maintenance specification and rental agreement for a period of 15 years.

Additional tenders are expected to be completed in the near future, both in the periphery and in the heart of the demand area, including the Triangle Stock Exchange Project in Ramat Gan, the Tel Aviv Peace Project and the Yokneam Project.

Welcome to Netanya

The Israel company, which worked overtime during the Corona period to provide medicines and medical equipment to the health care system, began marketing the SBC business center project.

The building, which is in advanced stages of construction, is located on Crystal Street in the Poleg industrial area of Netanya, near the existing building in Israel. The building covers 16,000 square meters on 10 floors on 19 acres. The full population of the project is expected at the end of the first quarter of 2021.

"This is an opportunity for businesses looking to lower office costs, improve accessibility and join leading companies in the economy, including eBay, Teva, and Elbit, which have moved to the Poleg industrial area," said Chief Executive Officer Avi Buskila.

Company Chairman Shlomo Grofman, one of the real estate executives in Israel, said: "The central location of the project, together with the huge investment of the municipality of Netanya in an extensive plan for the development of the region, are important factors that corporate leaders take into account."

The company will be responsible for managing the building and will occupy floors 1-4 for its needs. The rest of the floors are now for sale at launch prices, with the preference for selling whole or half floors to create a quality work environment while saving costs. The special marketing price for the launch is about NIS 9,800 per meter and for the upper floors about NIS 10,900 per meter.

Recently, the first deal was signed for the project: 6th floor of 1,550 square meters was sold for NIS 16,950,000 (including 15 parking spaces). The marketing of another floor is in the midst of negotiations and there is interest in the other floors as well. The project is being carried out by the construction company Al-Har Engineering of the Kardan Group.

Separate from the nursing home

As part of the combination deal, Yanov acquired a plot of land on 43 Borochov Street in Ra'anana, instead of the old nursing home of Neve Harim. The sellers are members of the Koch family, which operated the 1958 nursing home.

A 9-story residential building will be built on the lot. This week the building was demolished, and after the planning permission and approval of the permit, the building will begin. The plot area is 1,283 sq.m. The building will contain a mix of 3-5 rooms and penthouses. Yanov promotes the BNA for a project under the overall program 3000 RA in Raanana.

Janov has been active in the Sharon area for years and has built many projects in Ra'anana, Kfar Saba, Hod Hasharon and Herzliya, including Hadar Towers, Bar Ilan, Jabotinsky and more.

According to Sagi Lanchner, CEO of Janov, "We are pleased to launch the project in Ra'anana, located in the heart of a green neighborhood in a strategic and central location near public transport and major access roads, as well as near a local trade area. Housing demand in Ra'anana is very high, but the supply of apartments is not enough.

"Our project will offer very high standard housing units and a diverse mix. We will soon begin the marketing phase. Our target audience will be established young families who want to live in the heart of the city near shopping, medical, education and entertainment centers."

50 minutes from Dimona to Tel Aviv

After the train station was erroneously erected on the outskirts of Dimona and turned into a kind of detached white elephant, this week it was approved to move to the heart of the city. "An historic moment for Dimona," Mayor Benny Bitton declared.

After a long and focused discussion with the District Committee, the establishment of a state-of-the-art transportation center with a high-speed train station to Tel Aviv was unanimously reached, arriving at the destination within 50 minutes. A central bus station and taxi station will also be set up.

A commercial complex and offices will create new jobs for Dimona residents. The cost of the project is about NIS 350 million. The transportation center is now embarking on planning processes, which will take about a year and a half.
