【New Coronary Pneumonia】Thailand will allow business travelers from China and Hong Kong to enter China from July 1st

The Ministry of Health of Thailand announced on June 29 that it will lift the final restrictions on July 1 and allow bars, karaoke, theaters and saunas to resume operations. However, it is still necessary to abide by rules such as social alienation, including wearing masks and using the Thai government’s mobile app to track outbreaks.

At the same time, the Thai authorities also announced that foreigners holding work permits, residence permits, or family members in Thailand can enter Thailand from July 1 and accept 14 days of quarantine.

Business travelers from China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and South Korea can be exempted from the quarantine arrangement if their entry time is shorter than 14 days and it is proved that they have not been infected with the virus. However, passengers still need to be tested when they arrive, and they cannot take transportation after entering the country.

A total of 3,169 infection cases have been recorded in Thailand so far, with a total of 58 deaths. As of 29th, there have been no local infections for 35 consecutive days.
