The former Jordanian Minister of Information, Dr. Talib Al-Rifai, condemned the American administration's imposition of the so-called Caesar’s Law on Syria, stressing that this law and other unilateral Western coercive measures represent a flagrant violation of human rights.
In a statement to a Sana correspondent in Amman, Al-Rifai expressed his condemnation of the position of the international community, which remained silent and unable to confront the individual and irregular behavior of the United States against the sisterly Syria, stressing that “the sanctions imposed on Syria today are criminal in every sense of the word and target the Syrian people for no reason but to break their steadfastness and prevent it From the reconstruction and building of his country to serve the Zionist interests. ”
Al-Rifai said: We, as Arabs and as Jordanians in particular, are not allowed to stand by, not only because Syria, Al-Samoud, is a great sister who is exposed to great injustice, but also because our interests are at risk .. The United States has no right to deny us trade and economic relations with our most important strategic partner. Represented by our historical sister, Syria.
