A 10-year-old girl was found hanged with a rope around her neck in a house in Corrientes and, although her family said it was a suicide, the autopsy determined that she had signs of sexual abuse, so the arrest of his mother, stepfather, grandmother and neighbor.

The deputy chief of the Corrientes Police, Eduardo Acevedo, told Télam that although "the family reports that it was a suicide" it was determined that the story was "inconsistent" , for which "an investigation is being carried out to determine the cause of death".

"The preliminary autopsy report indicates that the girl was abused and that this situation is long-standing, has a prolonged correlation," said the officer, who added that, according to that forensic study, the body also had traces of other injuries suffered well in advance.

Meanwhile, he added that the death occurred due to "suffocation due to mechanical obstruction" and that the family indicated that he climbed onto a roof with a rope with suicide intentions. The fact began to be investigated last Saturday night when the body of the girl in a house on Tacuarí street, in the Capital city.

According to the police spokesman, a call was received to 911 and the policemen went to the place, where they found the body of the minor, who had already been taken down by her mother.

After determining at the autopsy the signs of abuse, by judicial order the police arrested the mother of the minor, 29 years old; the stepfather, 33; the grandmother, 63, and a neighbor, 51, who could "have a direct link to the event," Acevedo said.

"They are detained in different police stations and they seek to establish the responsibility of each one in the act," said the commissioner general. In addition, he specified that two raids were carried out in which "elements that are linked to the cause were seized."

The investigation prosecutor Mónica Espíndola and the judge of Instruction N ° 6 of Corrientes, Graciela Ferreyra, intervene in the investigation of the case.
