The General Organization for Drinking Water and Sewerage in the governorate of Aleppo is implementing several projects to secure the work of stations and maintenance of water networks and activating pumping centers to irrigate villages, starting from the Khafsah plant on the Euphrates River and ending with purification, restoration and pumping stations in the Neirab and Sulaiman Al-Halabi neighborhoods.
A Kurdish woman pointed out that the most important projects implemented by the Foundation in its plan for this year included replacing the 300-mm flexible font font that extends from the Al-Jazmati neighborhood roundabout towards the Al-Shaar police station and with a length of 1500 meters at a cost exceeding 200 million Syrian pounds as well as replacing the 300-mm water line in the neighborhood The class at a cost of 120 million Syrian pounds, in addition to a project to rehabilitate networks in the liberated western neighborhoods of Al-Zahra, Aleppo al-Jadida, and Al-Rashideen, at a cost of 175 million Syrian pounds.
And among Kurdish women, the establishment’s cadres carried out emergency work in the governorate’s countryside to speed up the return of farmers to their homes and lands by preparing wells in a number of villages and operating 16 pumping centers on them so that each center consists of a generation group, pumps, and electrical panels in the villages and towns of Ma’ara, Huritan, Anadan, Babis, Kafrna, and Khan Toman In the western countryside and in Al-Zorba and Al-Eis in the southern countryside, in addition to distributing tanks for drinking water with a capacity of five thousand liters for the villages of the southern countryside and filling them through the rental of tanks from Sulaiman Al-Halabi station in the city center.
In turn, Eng. Mustafa Abdel Wahab, head of the maintenance division, explained in a similar statement that the maintenance workshops are currently repairing the water line from the flexible font with a diameter of 1200 mm, which feeds the eastern neighborhoods of the city of Aleppo and pumps water to the industrial city of Sheikh Najjar where he was exposed to a longitudinal fissure and began to leak water due to shocks That he was exposed to as a result of terrorist attacks, in addition to continuing to maintain water lines and networks in the entire city's neighborhoods.
