A new national survey confirmed the difficult moment that the main politicians of Argentina are going through: of 10 official referents and measured opponents, only Alberto Fernández and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta passed the exam. The President and the head of the Buenos Aires Government were the only ones who had more positive than negative images.

The study is from  Métrica Consultores , a firm led by Matías Belliard. The analyst was one of the founders of Query Argentina and then worked four years as director of statistics for the province of Buenos Aires, during the macrista management. With the electoral defeat, he returned to lead his company.

The latest survey he presented includes a survey of 1,106 cases , online and by phone, in the main cities of the country. He presents it with a margin of error of 2.9%. In addition to Fernández and Larreta, Axel Kicillof, Cristina Kirchner, Sergio Massa, Mauricio Macri, María Eugenia Vidal, Miguel Angel Pichetto, Patricia Bullrich and Roberto Lavagna were evaluated.

The report highlights these conclusions from the start:

- " Alberto Fernández is the leader with the best positive image at the national level (49.8%). Although if you consider the net image (positive image less negative), the first at the national level is Horacio Rodríguez Larreta (15.3% net) Indicator of lower rejection level ".

- "Between May and June, the reduction in the net image of most  of the political leaders evaluated stands out, as a result of the economic and social erosion with more than three months of quarantine by COVID-2019".

- "The only two leaders who saw their net image increase at the national level were Rodríguez Larreta and Cristina Kirchner ."

- "In terms of image growth capacity , net or positive, the first is Roberto Lavagna , with 38.3% neutral image, followed by Rodríguez Larreta with 29.8% and Sergio Masa with 30%".

- "When Rodríguez Larreta and Kicillof are evaluated in their jurisdictions , compared to their national level evaluations, both leaders improve ."

Compared to May, the main changes were in the numbers of Alberto Fernández , who dropped his positive image by 6.5 points and the negative by 14.4. Despite this combination, it continues to balance in favor, which shows how and how much it had capitalized in its favor the first months of the pandemic. Alert to the President: all the polls, several weeks ago, show a downward trend.

On the opposite sidewalk appears Cristina , who improved her positive image by 7.4 points . But the vice numbers were so red, that the balance is still negative.

The evolution of   Vidal is also striking : its negative weight grew almost 11 points and thus, in just one month, it went from having a net balance in favor to having it against it .

Another who saw the negative grow strongly was Massa . So much so that if the net image differential is taken into account, it is last .

These are the main data of each one:

1) Rodríguez Larreta: 37.9% positive and 22.6% negative (+ 15.3 points of net image).

2) Alberto Fernández: + 49.8% and - 37.7% (+ 11.1).

3) Patricia Bullrich: + 34.9% and - 41.9% (- 7).

4) Vidal: + 36.4% and - 44.3% (- 7.9).

5) Lavagna: + 18.8% and - 28.6% (- 9.8).

6) Kicillof: + 33.6% and - 48.4% (- 14.8%).

7) Cristina: + 34.8% and - 51.2% (- 16.4).

8) Pichetto: + 19.7% and - 39.6% (- 19.9).

9) Macri: + 22.5% and - 56% (- 33.5).

10) Massa: + 14.7% and - 48.8% (- 34.1%).
