The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese parliament condemned the American interference in Lebanese internal affairs.
The bloc denounced in a statement issued after its regular meeting today, "the silence of those who failed the Lebanese judiciary and its independence and denied the right of a Lebanese judge to issue a ruling that prohibits some of the risks of the American ambassador's actions and practices outside the laws and agreements that regulate the work of diplomats in countries of the world."
The Lebanese judiciary had recently issued a decision prohibiting local and foreign media from conducting interviews or taking statements from the US Ambassador to Beirut Dorothy Chia for a year.
In another context, the bloc condemned the Zionist enemy’s decision to start drilling for gas and oil in a zone of contact with the southern Lebanese marine waters, considering that timing is a suspicious political and security message that calls from Lebanon a bold national stance that prevents the enemy from stealing Lebanon's resources at sea.
The bloc renewed its call to the Lebanese government to prioritize confronting the high prices and take the necessary measures to control the exchange rate and not hesitate to open new strategic cooperation paths with powers and countries that extend the hand of cooperation and friendship with Lebanon and respect international law.
