Summary :
After 14 seasons on France 2, "We're not lying" stops. By its longevity, its repeated clashes and its duos of emblematic chroniclers, the talk show hosted by Laurent Ruquier has become a reference in public debate. Several comedians also make their first performances, such as Florence Foresti or Jonathan Lambert. Launched in 2006 after the departure of Thierry Ardisson from France 2, the show was a real success, before paling in audiences, until its final cessation in July 2020.
This outcome also materializes the separation of Laurent Ruquier and his producer Catherine Barma, whose working relationship dates back to the late 1990s.
Why was the show so successful? How did it last? Who is Catherine Barma? Response in Source code with Benoît Daragon and François Rousseaux, Médias au Parisien journalists.
