Canada is suspending its extradition treaty with Hong Kong and its exports of " sensitive " military equipment in response to the imposition by the Chinese central government of a controversial national security law, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Friday.

" Canada firmly believes in the principle of a country-two systems " which is supposed to guarantee Hong Kong unknown freedoms elsewhere in China, said Justin Trudeau during a press briefing.
