The Democratic Primary Election held a primary election forum this afternoon (4th). A total of 6 people attended, including Democrat Hu Zhiwei, Civic Party Tan Wenhao, ADPL Shi Delai, People’s Power Tan Dezhi, Hong Kong Public Zhi Huang Zhifeng, Kwun Tong District Congressman Li Jiada.

The focus of this forum is if the government requires candidates to sign and support the National Security Law, otherwise they will be DQ, and whether the candidates will sign support. The attendees all said that they should not be afraid in the face of suppression.

At the forum, everyone debated whether they should sign the National Security Law. Hu Zhiwei said that the Democratic Party Plan B will do anything to enter the gate, but Plan A will not sign, because if Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C are not signed, the parliament will be given to the establishment.

Tan Wenhao said that if all the candidates did not sign, how to reach 35+, you should check the public opinion in advance to let the public reflect whether they should not sign, or whether the signing confirmation can let people enter the gate.

Huang Zhifeng said that if he alone does not sign, there will be a great chance of being DQ, but if all people do not sign, the government will be afraid, and the chance of everyone being DQ will be reduced. He also mentioned that if he cannot reach 35+, he will still fight for the rights of inmates and win international attention. He will continue to work hard regardless of whether he is elected or not.

In the end, Huang Zhifeng, Shi Delai and Tan Dezhi all said they would not sign the National Security Law, and pointed out that if DQs were finally used by many people to show their power to the international community, they would become ammunition on the international front.

In addition, Tan Dezhi insisted in the forum that the 35+ election itself includes an unfair system of non-functional groups. In support of the 35+ election, it basically supports an unfair election and asks "where is the bottom line."

The Kowloon East Pan-Primary Primary Election list includes Democrat Hu Zhiwei, Citizen Party Tan Wenhao, ADPL Shi Delai, People's Power Tan Dezhi, Hong Kong Public Zhi Huang Zhifeng, Kwun Tong District Council Member Li Jiada.
