Béor, a father who lives in Seine-Saint-Denis, set up the collective Les disparus anonymes to find the children who passed out

In four days, he found his 14-year-old daughter. It was in January 2019. Béor by his artist name (he is a photographer and director), this 35-year-old father now mobilized family and friends to search for Assia, who disappeared on January 2. "I quickly realized that the police were not moving," he explains today.

When his daughter disappears, he goes to the police station in Drancy (Seine-Saint-Denis). The report is made. The next day, he learns that she would have been seen in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. He pushes the door of the local police station and discovers that the wanted notice has not been published. “I had the impression that the police did not care. There were many of us in front of the police station. We started the research, ”he says.

With the help of friends, he peels social networks. An influencer he knows well disseminates a photo which is relayed more than 90,000 times. Béor ends up obtaining potential leads, pulling the strings, meeting people and learns that his daughter would be in Epinal (Vosges) in a young man whom he describes as schizophrenic. The information is correct, he finds his child in good health. Assia suffered no violence.

A Facebook group followed by 3,400 Internet users

He then recounts his research on social networks in a video. "After that, I started to receive calls from parents who were going through the same thing as me," continues Béor. He then decided to help them and created the collective Les disparus anonymes, managed via a Facebook group followed by more than 3,400 internet users. On their page, the photo of Wissem Abdelaoui appears. "We keep looking for it," says Béor. We have a team that crisscrossed Les Pavillons-sous-Bois (Editor's note: Seine-Saint-Denis) when we thought it was there. "

In total, throughout France, The Missing Anonymous has searched for 36 adolescents since its creation. Béor details: "We have found 22 since January 2019". He adds: “The first hours are decisive. "
