El Calafate investigating judge Carlos Narvarte, in charge of the investigation into the death of Fabián Gutiérrez, confirmed this Saturday the crime of the former secretary of Cristina Kirchner and revealed details about the discovery of the body.

"As a consequence of the investigation, we arrived at that place. Criminalistics personnel found the body and now they are collecting the evidence. The forensic doctor is on the way to carry out the autopsy," Narvarte explained at noon, in dialogue with TN .

The body "was buried and wrapped in a sheet" a few meters from a cabin, the magistrate revealed.

Police arrived at the scene after one of the four detainees revealed that location during their first investigation.

"He transmitted data to me about where the body could be found. That allowed us to go do the raking. This place is about ten blocks from Gutiérrez's house, " he added.

Narvarte explained that the crime would have occurred at the home of the former presidential secretary and that the authors had transferred the body "in a van" to the land where they hid it.

In the cabin they also found "a television, a stereo, cigars and some drinks" that the alleged perpetrators took from Gutiérrez's house.

"He had signs of beatings. There was violence. Now it is necessary to determine if the people that I am going to investigate today had participation and what degree. Also if the property where they buried him is rented or property of some of them. It is clear that we are talking about a homicide, "he said.

Finally, the judge announced that in the course of the afternoon they will investigate the four detainees for the crime: two young people between 18 and 20 years old with the last name Zaeta, sons of Oscar Zaeta, who is dedicated to the real estate sector in that city of Santa Cruz ; and two other young men with the last name Gómez and Monzón.

Gutiérrez had presented himself as repentant in the cause of the bribery notebooks and was in El Calafate for a few weeks, where he decided to quarantine for the coronavirus.
