The humanitarian ship Ocean Viking received authorization on Sunday 5 January from Italy to disembark the 180 migrants it rescued in the Mediterranean at Porto Empedocle, in Sicily, the NGO SOS Mediterranean announced. "We have received instructions from the Italian maritime authorities to disembark the survivors on board at Porto Empedocle.
