7,850 people are still hospitalized for Covid-19 infection. 98 new admissions have been identified. The balance remains negative in the intensive care unit, with 548 patients, 25 less compared to Friday. Four regions (Ile-de-France, Grand-Est, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Hauts-de-France) account for 74% of patients hospitalized in intensive care.

In Overseas France (Guadeloupe, Guyana, Reunion, Martinique, Mayotte), there are 218 hospitalizations, including 45 in intensive care. In Guyana, medical evacuations are underway.

The DGS also communicated on the “ clusters ”, these epidemic foci, which continue to form in France. Since May 9, it has counted " 324 grouped cases, including 3 new in 24 hours, but 197 closed ".

Since the start of the epidemic, 105,048 people have been hospitalized, including 18,413 in intensive care. The DGS no longer communicates its figures during the weekend.
