Several classes of the Gilbert Dru school group (elementary and kindergarten), located in the 7th arrondissement of Lyon " are concerned ". " As a result, the health protocol provides for screening and isolation measures for all staff and students, " says ARS Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

Nearly 450 people are thus invited to carry out virological screening by RT-PCR test, in a city laboratory, as of this Monday, subject to the parents' agreement for the children.

All are also encouraged " to respect the isolation measures for 14 days after the last contact, until July 13, even if the results of screening are negative, symptoms may occur until the 14th day after exposure ", adds the ARS. Other cases of Covid-19 have been identified recently near Lyon in schools in Vénissieux, Villeurbanne and Saint-Fons.
