The new Keeper of the Seals Eric Dupond-Moretti " withdrew his complaint " and the Paris Bar Association " suspended " his legal action concerning the preliminary investigation having targeted lawyers on the fringes of the case of " wiretapping aimed Nicolas Sarkozy, "AFP learned on Tuesday July 7.

Éric Dupond-Moretti had filed a complaint against X for " violation of the privacy of private life and the secrecy of correspondence " and " abuse of authority ", following the revelation of extensive investigations carried out by the PNF to identify the " mole " who could have informed Nicolas Sarkozy and his lawyer Thierry Herzog that they were tapped in a corruption case.
Appointed Keeper of the Seals Monday evening, replacing Nicole Belloubet, he " withdrew his complaint ", said the entourage of the president to AFP. The information could not be confirmed from a judicial source. The Paris bar announced in a press release Tuesday that it had " suspended " its legal action concerning this same preliminary investigation pending the results, expected for September 15, of the general inspection requested by the former guard of the Nicole Belloubet seals.
A “legitimate indignation” for the Order
" The Paris Bar considers that this investigation responds, at this stage, to his legitimate indignation ", writes the Order, asking that the President of Paris, Me Olivier Cousi, be " heard personally and informed of the conclusions of this investigation " " Depending on the report that will be made and the decisions that will be made, the Paris Bar will make all the arrangements that prove necessary, " writes the Order again.

Following a report on PNF investigations provided by Paris Attorney General Catherine Champrenault, Nicole Belloubet had commissioned a general inspection on July 1.
