In a week, Alberto Fernández, Axel Kicillof and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta will have their "quarantine moment" again: they must announce how the isolation by the coronavirus continues in the AMBA from July 18. And as the debate to define the details of the new extension grows, the three officials have one point in their favor. According to a survey released this week, 73% are preparing for the restrictions to continue .

The data comes from a study published by Ricardo Rouvier , a consultant who worked for years for Kirchnerism and continues to bring his studies closer to that space. It is one that has been monitoring the social humor linked to the pandemic month by month. His latest work included a survey of 1,200 telephone cases nationwide and presented them with a margin of error of +/- 2.8%.

Rouvier's survey coincides with the trends shown by other surveys and could be summarized as follows:

1) There is wear marked by the extension of the quarantine , which is already approaching four months.

2) People feel particularly economic damage  and ask for more flexibility.

3) Despite these constraints, most are convinced that the restrictions , especially in the city and the suburbs, will last a few weeks or even a few more months.

In the report's conclusions, Rouvier highlights:

- "The percentage of citizens who prefer that the isolation measures be relaxed grows, and on the other hand, the majority do not believe that the quarantine ends on the date indicated in the last presidential announcement. The continuous extensions of the special period of isolation it causes disbelief in the citizenry . "

- " Expectations of an economic improvement for this year continue to decrease , while it is considered that inflation will continue to be high. The impact of the deceleration of the inflation index indicated by the measurements in this regard is not yet verified in the population There are hopes that the economic situation will improve compared to today when the pandemic situation is overcome. "

- "The extension of the quarantine until July 17, continued to erode the image of the President and the Government . The downward trend continues although he continues to be the political leader with the best image. Today, the gap between his positive image and his negative image is 27 points (down 7 from the previous measurement which was 34 points). "

Other studies known in recent days also show how people prepare for more isolation and pandemic.
