American Abrams tanks will conduct a major exercise in Poland, with "windbreaker" systems manufactured by Israeli company Rafael. The exercise, which will be conducted in the shadow of the Corona virus, will include 55 American and Bradley tanks. The latest tools would have been to install another Israeli operating system, Elbit Company's "Arrow Arrow," but for budget reasons this was rejected. A total of about 550 fighters will participate.
The United States Army on Friday released a statement that revealed that the Armored Battalion would conduct an emergency deployment readiness in Europe. "This is a dynamic force that will carry out an exercise designed to test the military's ability to alert and deploy quickly around the world," the press release said. This is one of the first major exercises to use the active defense system, which aims to identify and eliminate enemy anti-aircraft missiles.

The message states that as part of the training, the unit will mount the Windbreaker system on the Abrams tanks. "Windbreaker" is an active defense system designed to detect and eliminate propel grenades, anti-tank missiles, etc.
Last October, the first shipment of the Windbreaker system was delivered to the U.S. Army, under the contract signed in 2018. According to the agreement, three Abrams divisions will be equipped with the Israeli defense system, worth a total of about half a billion dollars.
In January 2020, the Russian Ministry of Defense's intention to manufacture tank shells called "LEKALO", which was allegedly capable of destroying Abrams tanks, was also revealed. The new shell, reported in Russian media, has a mechanism that allows long-range armor to penetrate.
