An indictment and a request for detention until the end of the proceedings were filed in Nazareth District Court against four residents of Baqa al-Gharbiya and a singer, who tried to smuggle dozens of weapons from Jordan to Israel. All four defendants are charged with conspiracy to commit crime, with the two centers also charged with importing weapons.

According to the indictment during April this year, the four defendants conspired to import dozens of weapons from the state of Jordan into Israeli territory. For the purpose of coordinating the smuggling, one of the defendants was in telephone contact with several parties, including a Jordanian citizen and coordinating the import of weapons through the border between Jordan and Israel southeast of the settlement of Ya'akov Ichud.

Because of concerns that there were security forces in place of the smuggling, there were security forces that thwarted the smuggling, and the four accused, in coordination with the Jordanian, suspended the plan until they were immediately cleared of their concerns. In the early evening after the area inspection, the three concluded that the smuggling place was "clean" of forces at this point and decided to renew the smuggling program.

According to the co-ordination of one of the defendants in front of the Jordanian civilian, around 8 p.m., two people arrived from the Jordanian side of the border, one carrying a sack containing two cases containing 32 firearms. One of the two climbed over the perimeter fence, crossed the border and put the sack containing the weapons in the agreed location and returned to Jordan. The placing of the weapons in the hiding place was reported to the contact person in Israel. A few minutes later, the contact with another defendant in a BMW vehicle arrived at the smuggling station, stopping near where the sack was placed. The contact got out of the vehicle, went to the hiding place and bent towards the sack to take it.

Detectives from the Border Unit of the Central Israel Police Unit who were detained for hours detained the two defendants and at the same time another detective force arrested another suspect who was waiting at a gas station at the Ashdot Yaakov in a Toyota vehicle to assist in the smuggling of weapons. In the sack examination, 31 different types of guns and one submachine gun were seized.

Attorney Shlomi Blumenfeld's attorney for one of the defendants argues: "All our arguments will be heard and raised in court. All I can say now is not to shout. So to say the least. My client claims innocence and claims innocent presence at the scene. My client just was in the wrong place at the wrong time. "
