Together for Change rejected the call made by President Alberto Fernández to the opposition blocs to debate, among other issues, the "post-pandemic reconstruction" of coronavirus.
Through a statement, senators and deputies of Together for Change questioned that "the tenor of the topics" of the meeting "as the nature" of this force, warrant a meeting alone with the representatives of both chambers of that space.
"Reiterating our total will to face the proposed agenda and attentive to the little time remaining for the call that was announced today and to seriously and rigorously analyze each of the issues, we ask you -as soon as your agenda allows it - A working meeting of our representatives in both houses with you and your team in order to fully address it, "they indicated.
"The proposed agenda would consist of a sanitary evaluation of the quarantine, three legislative initiatives and a dialogue for the post-pandemic reconstruction agreement," the text stated. "We are the only political space that has both deputies and senators, totaling 145 legislators from Together for Change and their allies, which is why serious and assiduous interaction seems to us essential to address the parliamentary agenda that citizens demand of us," he continued. the notice.
"And the timely and rigorous debates are even more relevant in the case of the agreements that will be necessary in the face of post-pandemic reconstruction, something that concerns us as a political coalition and that worries the more than 45 million Argentines.
