Luchon Festival changes team

"Youth Screen" comes at a tipping point for its big brother, the festival of television creations in Luchon. Christian Cappe has just left his position as general delegate after the arrival of a new team at his management.

He returned to this position in 2018 after a parenthesis of ten years, in a context of turbulence for this manifestation interspersed with series resignations, including that of the director and producer Serge Moati, its president since 2008.

Created in 1999, this event dedicated to French television creation (series, TV films, documentaries) was endowed in July with a new president, Emmanuelle Eymard, who promised for 2021 a 23rd edition "glamor and feminine" in a context strong competition between audiovisual festivals (CanneSéries, Séries Mania in Lille, FIPADOC in Biarritz and La Rochelle, the next edition of which will be held exceptionally in Paris ...). It also wishes to develop the creation pole of the festival, within an Occitanie region very requested for filming. The continuation, with the next episode if the Covid-19 epidemic allows it.
